PRODUCT SUMMARY
The FIMY  Dissolved Oxygen (DO) Test Kit quickly and accurately measures dissolved oxygen levels in water - an essential vital gas for creatures in water. Consequences of low DO levels include fish suffocation and death. The FIMY   DO Test Kit will help you catch and correct DO before it drops to unsafe levels, reading levels from 0 ppm to 10 ppm. For water with levels over 10 ppm, a dilution with pure water before testing is recommended.

DISSOLVED OXYGEN TEST DIRECTIONS                  
1. Fill a clean test tube full with about 25 ml of water to be tested.
2. Add 5 drops of Dissolved Oxygen Test Solution 1 and 5 drops of Dissolved Oxygen Solution 2, respectively, holding dropper bottle upside down in a completely vertical position to assure uniformity of drops.
3. Cap the test tube and invert tube several times to mix solution.
4. Three minutes later, add 5 drops of Dissolved Oxygen Test Solution 3.
5. Cap the test tube and invert tube several times to mix solution.
6. If the solution is still not transparent, add some extra drops of Dissolved Oxygen test solution 3 till clearance.
7. Remove extra solution (to the line on the tube) with a rubber head dropper.
8. Read the test results by comparing the color of the solution to this card. The tube should be viewed in a well-lit area against the white area of the card. The closest match indicates the Dissolved Oxygen of the water sample.
9. Rinse the test tube with clean water after use.

 
RECOMMENDED DO LEVELS
DO levels lower than 4~5 ppm is unacceptable in most cases, preferably 7~9 ppm.
 
WARNING
Avoid all personal contact, including inhalation. Wear protective clothing when risk of exposure occurs. Use in a well-ventilated area.
Store in original containers. Keep containers securely sealed. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area. Store away from incompatible materials and foodstuff containers.
